Whats sad is us old guys who grew up driving /building /restoring these old trucks are retiring (myself included ) and the young guys barely get to put their hands on a few to learn how it's done while many of us have worked on hundreds and driven or owned dozens . These old trucks are the muscle cars of today because they cost less to build and have a purpose other than Sunday driving . It's a lot easier to talk your girl into buying an old truck to have around the house than a muscle car to drive to the shows ( And still run the same drive trains !) , And a lot more fun too ! Keep the trim reuse the original ! It's easier to polish the old trim while it's still on the truck than taking it apart and possibly bending it !
