I had a Demon about two years ago and I had issues, Idle adjustment and sticking floats. Could have been a lemon but...
I now use QuickFuel carbs (Holley copy's with all the good Holley extra cost features included). 4 idle circuits, bowl fuel level view ports, reusable gaskets, dual pump, coated for fuel corrosion protection. And so far no issues on both I own.
