I had mine built by a local shop in '97 for around $1100 with converter and adaptor plate to Olds. It has stood up very well. I have 4.11 tail gears and run about 2200 R.P.M. at 65 mph. I have an 1800 R.P.M. stall with lockup.
As you have a lumpier cam than I, you'll probably want a 2500 R.P.M. stall or so.
