Find the leak and repair it. If it's the gauge which is rare, you may have to replace it. You should be able to go to Home Depot or Lowes and get 1/8 th copper line with the ferrules and new nuts.
There is usually enough line to cut off at the gauge and install a new ferrule and nut if it's leaking at the gauge.
Auto meter sells the whole kit less gauge for $10. You can probably find them at advance or AZ for the same price.

A new electric sender will run $20 or more unless you use the idiot light sender and then it will be more.
