They certainly aren't easy to find because many of them are lost like special-k said, or broken when people try to remove them. You can buy barrel clips at almost any auto parts store. They are used to hold some of the fender emblems on our trucks. I bought some at NAPA for the bowtie emblems on the fenders of my '67. They are pretty brittle but you may be able to modify one to hold the cable in. If you can find the right size they might work without modification.
