probably 3" longer shackles. The problem then is the pinion is now pointing down and would cause u-joint binding. With that much lift you may or may not need to lengthen the drive line. I can't remember what TC do you have? If it's a 208 then your drive shaft is short than say a truck w/ a 205. The tc drop is just 1" spacers to lower the rear cross member from the frame. the cross member is held on with 4 bolts. I had a friend that had 6" of lift on a K5 that lowered the TC but did not lengthen the rear drive shaft.
Get the 4" lift on and see what you got, then hope for the best and expect the worst.

1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.
1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm
