1" thick means they are the light duty version that was offered from 1981-87.
(along with the HD version)
The light duty rotors require a specific light duty:
Spindle, caliper, and one of the bearings is different.
They can still be used for 5-lug,... just not the aftermarket 6-lug rotors you are looking for.
To convert to 6-lug you will need a different spindle, caliper, bearings, and the aftermarket rotors.
