68 C10: will continue to appreciate or hold its value. You'll get thumbs up as you drive it to school or work. You'll be able to haul all your other toys (bikes, sound system, barbeque grill, quads, etc).

Bird: has already depreciated significantly and will continue to do so. No one will even notice what you are driving around in. You'll be able to haul your dirty laundry and that's about it. Determining it needs to be a six speed will super limit your pool of available vehicles to the one or two left in the country and that are priced using the "Barrett Jackson method".
