couple of questions here.

first, how do you get the knobs off of the radio to remove it from the dash. i've got some problems with my am radio and i want to pull it to see what the problem is or take ot to someone who can fix it.

secondly, i was having some problems with my heater hfan motor. i trying to isolate the problem i connected it straight to the battery. the thing ran at a much higher speed than it usually does off of the heater controls in the cab. while keeping it grounded, i hooked the positive terminal to the battery and again got a much higher rpm on the motor. thus i've isolated it to the positive connection. question. does the heater control normally kick down the amount of juice going to the motor or do i have a problem and where should i look. lokks like the heater control connects to the box under the dash. i however have not cracked it being the novice i am and not knowing what i'm going to get into.
