Resurrecting this old thread because I'm looking for a steering wheel for my '72 Suburban. Currently have a flimsy plastic wheel on the truck. Looking at the LMC Truck catalog it's listed as
17" original.
I like the look of the 38-1160 wood steering wheel listed on this page -

It looks like the Grant wood wheel on some of the trucks in this thread but in the LMC picture it looks like it's a darker wood.
Is anyone currently running this wood wheel? Is LMC the best place to look? Any other suggestions/pics of
period correct steering wheels?
