Had to do it on mine to reconnect the oil sump the previous moron didn't install correctly. I pulled the bolt out of the driver's side motor mount and used a 2x4 on end on top of the floor jack to lift the engine enough to get the pan past the flex plate. I used the power steering bracket (I think) on the front of the engine to push up on. The pan won't come out of there unless you lift the engine a little.
