I replaced my original 1969 antenna with a reproduction with a fixed mast, and it worked fine. I'd think that the telescoping and fixed mast reproductions would use the same base. However, the repro cable is hardwired into the base rather than plugging in. The pictures below show my original antenna base and the new antenna installed.

I'm glad to see another original owner on here!
