I forgot to mention that the skins had three holes punched in them for the factory mirrors (the round ones on the single arm) that we had to weld shut. As mentioned above, we ground off the old skin on the sides and the bottom to remove the old one, then punched holes and spot welded the new ones on. My brother in law (body man all his life) said they were as good of quality as the GM ones he used to use when he worked for Chevrolet when these trucks were new. I compared the thickness of the metal and the new ones weren't as thick.
