Krazy, no need to wait a week.... it usually only takes a day for drastic weather change.

As for the 'whining', I didn't read it that way. For all you guys that have to work on your trucks in sub-zero temps amid 30mph snow drifts (outside, no gloves, one hand behind your back) Texas is a big state & should be able to accommodate you.

Now anyone who says they enjoy working on a truck in freezing conditions has never done it 'cause the slightest slip of the wrench causes pain x10 compared to normal temps. Emergency repairs?, sure.... but not just because it needs to get done.
