COPO on camaros is rare in that 69 were produced/ a double copo was an all aluminum 427 not a steel one, Nickey/yenkos/baldwins are not copos. These dealers would order camaros and place their own 427's in them. A racer named fred gibbs got a dealer to order one but they had to be ordered in a block of 50. COPO in our trucks is could be paint or a number of things. In 72 my dad ordered a c-10 black stepside that was a 402/turbo400/411 rear and a heavy half had leafspring that was a copo as well
