protecting the glass is a hard lesson to learn.
been there done that on camaro glass.
blankets,cardboard,sheet plastic,plywood i use anything to protect the glass now.
i work in a 2 car garage so the other car gets covered before any kind of sparks fly.
i try too be real mindfull of where i'm throwing sparks with the grinder cause they can bounce and still ruin something out of sight.

of course allways being carefull not to start a fire.
