Re: Need carburetor suggestions for 283ci
Well I had it worked on months ago and the guy had it tuned to the condition of the carb at the time. Not sure where he had it but ran ok. Right now it's at 12 btdc. I have a timing tape coming in a day or two along with a piston stop and new innova light with tach reading. I will find true tdc and put the new tape on and have a better answer for you initial/total.
By the book it's supposed to be at 4btdc but I am at 5000ft here.
