What year is your truck? If it is a 62 or earlier you might be able to just tighten up the torsion bars up front. They do sell radial tires that look like Bias Plys. I would lower the rear and keep the front stock. A 2 inch lowering block in the rear is cheap and easy. It might salve your problem of deciding whether to lower it, or keep it stock
