I have always looked for the 2 strap design. I did switch to the 90s starters which look similar only high torque. They used them on 4.3 S10 and 454 engines. They are fairly cheap and crank in all conditions even extreme heat. The smaller design allows one hand install and gives more room by exhaust.

Exactly, factory mini starter. Chevy we build get's one of those from the local parts store with a lifetime warranty, if you don't wanna pay big money for a power-master, or risk premature failure with a $50 ebay special.
