Returned for refund, still waiting.

Although I paid for a steering column in excellent condition, I received a scratched and dented housing. The actual column shaft was missing. It doesn't even look the same color. When I asked about the color, the seller told me that the column and wheel in the ad are black. They look fawn to me in the original photos, but I could be wrong. The turn signal lever was glued on with silicone and extra parts were in the box. I removed the turn signal lever for the return ship. The hazard button was missing.

It wasn't even a box. It looked like someone had wrapped cardboard around the column and then covered it with duct tape. When I tried to ship it back, FedEx wouldn't accept it and they put it in a box for me. Return shipping was $19.

The seller told me to return it for a refund and that he also had sent me money to cover shipping. The return shipping money was never sent and when I asked about it his response was:

"I'll handle it tonight.as I have more important business in order."

His next response was:

"Check this out rookie,I'm NOT paying the transaction "fee" so you will be getting 149.57 + the 40.00 shipping fee.so it will be 189.57 total.ill look into it shortly as your Lil 189.00 is peanuts to the thousands I ship WORLDWIDE DAILY!"

The seller will not respond to: pm, phone calls or text messages. I had to file a claim with PayPal and the column housing has been returned.

I'm not 100% sure, but I may have seen that housing for sale somewhere and I passed on it. I was very surprised when it showed up. The seller has the location stated as Los Angeles, CA, but the housing was shipped from Los Alamos, New Mexico.

The housing was delivered to the seller on Friday. I'm still waiting for the seller to respond and send my refund. I hate to get PayPal involved, but I have no other option.
