That chrome mylar around the wood at top is not very durable (GM or Repop). It is always pealing and not warrantied because of poor original design. Having said that, I have a new pair, PUI American made. I will sell them for 20% off my normal low price. $200 instead of normal $250 (w/tax in WA, of course).
