Re: two piece to one piece drive line swap.
I have had several short beds and everyone of them had 2 piece drive shafts. The 2 piece is actually stronger and works good with a nice carrier bearing. But I'm sure there are more knowledgeable gurus on here that can guide you in the right direction.
