Yeah I went back and forth about the trade. I do like the 67 (yes a 69 front clip, put on before I bought it) a bit more but heres the back story.

I threw my 67 on craigslist just to see if I can make a quick buck. Ultimately the guy I purchased the truck from saw the truck and contacted me wanting to buy it back. But he wanted to give me what I bought it for and I put some money into the truck and got her going, put in modern sebring seats and purchased a new fender that will go with the truck. I told him my bottom dollar which I think is more than fair and he even admitted that with what I put in, it was fair but he couldnt fill the $$ gap.
Fast forward a few days, his "best friend" contacts me and offers up this 1983 C10 as an even trade. He tells me that he wants to surprise his friend and get the truck back for him as a birthday present, since years ago he gave him a loan for a hospital bill. He says its nice but I have yet to see it in person. I plan on seeing it later today, or tomorrow to go through it and make sure its a good deal/or at least even.

That being sad, this guy could be full of crap and trying to pull a fast one and tug on the heart strings. But I guess we'll see. Im pretty interested, I work HVAC and fairly familiar with car HVACs as well so thats almost a non-issue.
