Hope I'm not hijacking this thread, but can you use a drum booster with a disc master? I've got a C20 drum booster in my truck, and I'm doing a similar swap as the OP.

This could also be relevant to the OP since drum boosters are probably way easier to find than 71-72 only stuff.
