Never seen one like that but in a leaf spring dovetail Wrecker truck C30Never seen one on a coil spring.I think some one was tring to make something work for some stange reason cus the pan are bar is is a tight spot to get it out of there and where the drain plug is I doubt GM or even the Military would of done stuff like that.Remember.The whole point of have a working truck is being able to work on it and making it easy to work on said truck.I feel this might of been part of a Built by fisher body's or some coach body builder that got this frame after the factory and had a main use for it.Thats all i can say cus that looks like it would be a Bi-ch to work on to get the BAR out if you broke the bar
