Re: bought me a new truck, and now i have tons of questions lol

Man, yall are a helpful group of people lol. So I think i want to stick with the 8 lug and just run some steel wheels. But I'm trying to look into each route to make sure whatever I end up doing is cost effective and meets the end state I'm going for. I've pretty much decided power brakes are a definite. Power steering I'm still 50/50 on. It'll depend on what I can find at the salvage yard as far as mounting brackets for the pump and all.

My understanding is I can just get an 8 lug disc conversion kit for the front? Would it work to grab parts from a newer square body for the front from the salvage yard? I see that's a common idea for the c10 guys, but besides the lug pattern what front end differences am I looking at between my truck and a c10?

The rear swap is tempting, but if I went that route is there a bolt in option? I have the coil spring set up, so I'm assuming my only real option is a 67-72 c10 rear? Any Ones in particular to look for or stay away from?
