So the late Mr Porterfield had spent $12,000 on his turbo HD/TD 301" L6? Wow. And not a nickel out of place.
Just wonder why no power steering? Where would you put it? The manifolds occupy the space that a stock P/S pump would be. Might also limit access to the turbo, which may need fine-tuning.
Maybe not required on a '50 half-ton pick up.
We'll never know.
