I had one on my 700R4 with the engine sitting in the rearward 6-cyl location. I needed a bend in it, and just used some tubing benders to get the angle I needed. I also actually trimmed some off, so I don't see how it's too short. My only complaint is there's nothing to dampen the vibration and the column would rattle at idle. If I were to do again, I'd use the cable shifter linkage.
