I bought a crate engine. ho70, are you referring to the transmission dipstick? I have not disconnected it yet. Is it attached to the engine or the tranny case on a 72 350 thm? My transmission was completely rebuilt a few months back so there is no reason to pull it from the truck.

Already Gone, the color is Meadow Green & White, although I hear a lot of guys call it Medium Green. I think that comes from the fact that it is often abbreviated to Med. Green. The DuPont color chart has it as Med. Green, but the 72 Chevy brochure has it as Meadow Green.
