m2fine...it was the Eagles. In Winslow there is corner with a picture of a girl and a flatbed Ford painted on the wall. I was going to ship the car COD after I got the money. My first reaction is to refuse to give him anything so I will just request his bankers name and phone number and have my bank call them and complete the transaction...that would work. Once I have the money I am at no risk since the shipping is COD. I also thought about setting up a separate account for the transaction but that is kind of a pain when the bank can handle it.
I have not heard back from him yet so we will see. He seemed very concerned about the transport company and was going to call them direct to try to negotiate a better deal. He also spent a great deal of time telling me about another deal that nearly went bad on him so he is very cautious. This could be just another transparent attempt to gain trust.
ckhd...so far all I know is his first name, Art. I tired the reverse lookup of his phone and it was a Verizon cell from Winslow...at that parts is correct.
