Re: Possible Purchase 2 Vetting Help Please

Ok so far so good.
That appears to be a pretty nice, original truck.
I have a few things that would push me a little further on this.
1st) There might be a member here on the site within a reasonable drive distance that might be willing to take an hour or two and check it out for you for a minor fee?.....you never know, we are a pretty helpful bunch, lol

2nd) The truck looks good, but this is tied to what he is asking for it.
In my opinion this truck should definitely be under $10K asking price...but north of $5k.
I would estimate a fair value (based on pics) somewhere in the vicinitiy of $6500-$7500 (...important point: that is 'west coast' pricing. things might be different out east?)

Always be certain that there will be things about the truck that will surprise you and you won't necessarily like, be happy with or want to change.
So always keep some of your budget ready to 'put things right'....might be $500-$1000.....you just never know.

Regardless, that is a nice find (so far)....so keep us posted on where you are at in all of this.

All good
