You could simply re gasket some stuff, do the typical mods, and get it in the truck. Then rebuild it this winter.

The former owner had it already torn down before I could get it purchased. The oil pump was starting to go, which when that happens it generally, as I understand it, starts to take out the #6 cylinder first and works it's way to the front. Luckily he caught it before a lot of damage was done.
I plan on putting in new liners and doing a complete rebuild. I want this one to last for a good long while.
