I have no idea what the kit you may have for the rear end, but the 5 lug rear end in my Burban has 1/4" to the flex hose to the axle then the lines on the axle are 3/16". The fitting on the axle end of the flex hose is set up for 1/4" fittings so you have to use a 1/4" inverted flare to 3/16" tube fitting. The wheel cylinders are set up for 3/16" fittings.
