As above. I replaced mine with the push on type about ten years ago and had trouble closing them. I moved the striker out and that helped but still had to slam the door shut until they got settled in. I have no problems with them now and they work great.

It helps to do it in the summer so the rubber gets a chance to soften up some and I also found out that if I lowered the windows some the door was somewhat easier to close.
