When I redid my 82 (stock seat) and 83 (92 C1500 seat) C10, I used belts from a 92-98 Chevy/GMC extended cab truck. The bolt right in place of the old belts and are way better mechanism/re-tractors than the 80's style.
Whenever I get unlazy, I will probably do the same thing for my 81.
