OK,....here are two pics. One is the driver's side. No need for any adjustments. The other shows how I added a spacer nut, (temporarily), to extend the length of the mirror adjustment arm. I will replace the current nut with either SS or with a piece of thick walled SS or aluminum tube.
Remember, these mirrors are threaded and TIGHT! (At least mine was). After removing the mirror by unthreading it, we reinstalled it and only did about 2 1/2 threads in. This adjustment works for the truck seat to be fully aft. If you sit closer, this once again may not give you what you need. (There is a way to extend this even further, but you'd have to thread the inside of the hollow mirror thread to accept a bolt, then weld,...…).
