One time in my 4x4 '71 Jimmy, I was four-wheeling from one remote jobsite for about 20 miles of twisty mountain road to another one about 45 minutes away on the freeway. When I got there, I noticed my battery had broken out of its mounting and rolled on its side, and a streak of acid had etched an airflow line in the paint of the passenger side fender.
