There are 2 screws that hold the printed circuit board to the panel. They are ground screws that take the ground "wire" in the circuit and grounds it to the dash and the ground side of the light socket. if those screws are dirty or loose they will not make a good contact and cause all kinds of issues with the dash lights and turn signals on the dash. So be sure to check these as well.
