I hope the OP doesn't mind, but I am going to continue this thread on how I am replacing my HD carrier bearing. I figure if all of this information stays in one thread, it will help out many others in the future. If I am wrong, will a moderator please let me know and I will start a new thread.

EDIT: The part number for the below bearing is SKF# HB88107A

Ok, so per Mike's suggestion above, I decided to pull apart the part I got from rock auto that clearly doesn't match the original bearing carrier. I then took apart my original carrier and here is where I am at:
