I believe I can save the shaft if I get a correct new bolt. The nearest driveshaft shop is 2 hours one way from my house so I'd rather save the time and money if I can.

**UPDATE** I managed to run a thread chaser into the shaft and it cleaned up nicely. I got a new 1/2x20 bolt which fit. Should be good to go now!
