I just put in a tilt auto column (pre-73/ignition switch equipped) where the original 3spd was. Since the frames are interchangeable (minor differences but they are the same in the area where the pivot hardware attaches) I would bet the later model parts will bolt right in place.
Mine is highly modded so I have no need for factory original stuff but I'll base my search using the 67-72 as my criteria.
