I bought a Lokar knock off kit off eBay - the rod from the steering column to the trans shift lever wasn't long enough so I bought a length of all-thread rod to make it work. I still didn't like seeing the all-thread rod so I grabbed a piece of stainless tubing from my work and slid it over the all-thread.
I still wasn't happy so I stole some ideas from other board members and added a suspended gas pedal from a 72 C-10 and grafted on a brake pedal from a 73 C-10. Now I'm happy - for now anyway.
