I went through the same color combination thoughts.
First I was thinking black carpet. Then some people with better sense of color thought brown. That's what I went with. Sorry no good pictures but I am posting what I have for examples. I did the door panels in the same color as the parchment sun visors. Special ordered a dash pad in parchment. I ordered the powder coating as seen on the door panels. I wanted to do the steering column in the same color, parchment, but I had all ready finished it in a black powder coat and there is no way it was coming apart again.

Their was no way I was going to stay with the stock colors of my truck. Yellow with a green interior. Someone may have liked it but that person doesn't own the truck now.
