Glove Box installation problem
I am finishing up installing Factory AC in my truck. I now have a problem as to installing the glove box. It is an AC box that I had previously installed when I just had a heater. I know that you remove glove boxes from the rear as I did this one. With all the AC components installed I so not see how to install the glove box. I thought, maybe I would have to install the glove box and then the heater box and ac stuff. The problem with this is that I would not be able to get to the top heater box screw and also be able to install all the hoses correctly.
The shop manual states this to replace the heater core:
1. drain Radiator
2. remove heater hoses from core
3. remove the sheet metal nuts from the heater case studs which project to the engine side of the firewall.
4. remove the glove box
5. unplug the relay
6. remove right ball outlet hose
7. then finish removing the heater case
After installation of all the heater box and AC hoses the next step is to install the glove box.
Is there another style of glove box that I need?
Any advice will be appreciated.
