I wouldn't recommend changing to delay wipers 'cause this little module is rather expensive ($65 and a GM parts counter) and it doesn't last very long.

Yes & no. I have had three modules, two bought off eBay and one I took out of an 80 Suburban. The first one from eBay never worked, the second had the random wipe every now and then. The current module I am using is out of the 80 Suburban and works perfectly and this truck was abused during it's last years (hunting rig with about a ton of dust inside). I'm not saying that a new module wouldn't fail right away, but now that I have it, I would not go back. I plan on getting new ones for back up as soon as I get some other things out of the way.
