My glove box decal was removed by the guy who got the truck out of the field and painted it red. I didn't know the history until I took it apart and found the green under the dash and on the firewall behind the heater core shroud. I then went back to the guy and asked and that is how I found out it was in the Army. I'm the third owner I guess. The government, the guy I bought it off of, and me!
I would love to see what options your glove box shows. I know mine didn't come with any options, but I have since added factory air, tilt, small block, auto.
I sent an e-mial to GM's military division yesterday asking if they could point me in the direction of some pictures. If I get anything back I will let you know.

1971 C10 Stepside. LSx 6.0 with BTR Stage IV, Speed Engineering Headers, 4L80e transmission w/3200 Circle-D Stall. 3.73. Posi. Purchased this truck when I was 17. I started the rebuild (or take apart) in 1993. I have drug it around all over the country in pieces. Finally back on the road in 2021.
