Have you used "Extend" rust product.
The POR equivalent NAPA has is called Extend. I believe Plasticoat has a similar product also. Extend sprays clear and turns the rust black in about 24 hrs. It dries smooth and you can paint over in 24 hrs. Is this what POR works like? I'm impressed with Extend so far, and it sure beats muriatic acid! I am curious to see how long the effects last. Illinois winter road salt is "the premier" rust test. Anyone else use it?
