Redid the Dash...

I finally got my dash done, well, almost. The temp. gauge was too hot to remove, so the dash is in temporarily. The glovebox will get the same treatment as the dash.

Vintage air is in... doors painted, rug down, dash pad is painted, speaker kick panels painted, all that's left is the door panels... over a year later I almost have an interior

Oh, I still have a tilt column laying around here somewhere...

Re: Redid the Dash...

I have '72 panels for it. The scrolled part will be white with the chrome trim around it, then the rest of the panel will be med. metallic blue like the dash and kick panels.

Re: Redid the Dash...

Aluminum on the outside, flat black on the inside. I thougt the aluminum looked cheesy, so after it dried I rubbed it down with a rag and it gave it a nice dull finish, I then cleared the whole thing. I really like how it came out, I'm going to be doing the same to the glove box

Re: Redid the Dash...

Interiors are over-rated!

Yours looks really good, I'm going to go ahead and do that with my bezel too. I have a 67 glovebox door, so I can leave it as is.

16" lokar floor shift.

I think the 23" floor shift is too high. The 16" is a nice comfy position for driving. I shift between 3 and OD a lot (city driving )

No, I don't have any, but it's almost touching the seat You can adjust it so it's farther away.
