Re: 40/20 /40 seats ?
Hmmmm....do you mean these? Only available in the '67 and '68...commonly called "buddy buckets". $350-$550 unrestored.

Re: 40/20 /40 seats ?
I have found these only in '67 or '68 trucks or at swap meets. Some Dodges had a similar style in this era.

Re: 40/20 /40 seats ?
I'm running the 40/20/40 Seats w/ Integrated shoulder belts out of a 2004 Silverado 2500HD. I forked over $350 for them. I just put them in my new to me '67 GMC SWB. They are quite a bit thicker in the back then the stock bench- so I had to move the column in about 3 inches to clear my squishy belly!

Re: 40/20 /40 seats ?
I'm using a set of 98 or 99 40/20/40Silverado seats in my 69 K20 and you definitely lose room. You sit a touch higher and you're definitely closer to the dash. Whether you have the in cab tank does not matter as the back of the seat hits the metal portion of the cab that is above the gas tank. You definitely want a tilt column if you use these later model style seats.
Here are two previous threads I have regarding the install of that seat, thread 1 and thread 2 The second thread has a good pic of me sitting in the seat to show leg room.

Re: 40/20 /40 seats ?
You can use the late 90's model bench and I think it is contoured but not as thick as the 40/20/40 seats. You give up legroom, but gain a bit of comfort for sure.
