new replacement bench seat cover from Brother's is too small
I decided to get going again on the restoration of my '72 c20. I ordered a factory replacement seat cover in the correct green vinyl from Brother's parts. It cost me over $200. It looks really nice and appears to be a very good reproduction of the original seat cover. I finally got around to taking my seat and the cover to the upholstery shop. The upholstery guy tells me it is cut about 2.5" too narrow and there is no way it is going to fit. My truck is 100% stock and the bench seat is original and has the factory cover (just worn a bit so I wanted to replace it).
I called Brother's and the girl on the phone did not know what to tell me... so she told me her supervisor would contact me tomorrow. I guess I need to send this cover back. Very frustrating. Anyone else ever have this problem with seat covers purchased from brother's?
